BlackBody, a module for calibrating BCS VIEW thermal imaging cameras BCS-V-TI432IR5-TTW-15, BCS-V-TI432IR5-TTW-13, BCS-V-TI432IR5-TTW-10, BCS-V-TI432IR4-TTW-6 and BCS-V-EI432IR1-TTW-6
Calibration is performed by imitation of a black body (absorbing all thermal radiation from the environment) and emission of heat at a constant temperature. Thanks to the use of BlackBody, the measurement accuracy is +/- 0.3 ° C (without the calibration module +/- 0.5 ° C).
When using BlackBody, the camera does not need to be pre-calibrated after activation, which is responsible for adjusting the camera to thermal background and ambient temperature. With BlackBody, you can therefore save time and take temperature measurements almost immediately.
BCS-V-WT increases the camera's resistance to factors that may have a negative impact on the measurement, such as the movement of air masses (from fans or air conditioning) or thermal shadows (formed on the surfaces reflecting radiation).
